Adobe Lightroom Basics — Amateur and professional photographers use this program to catalog, manage and edit their photographs. Get hands-on experience manipulating, correcting and retouching your images to share in print or on the web.

If you have  a digital single lens reflex (DSLR) and are still shooting on automatic (or it’s still in the box), this class is for you. Students will learn how to use all the settings and functions of their cameras as they practice taking digital photographs. Topics will include auto white balance, correct exposure for digital images, shooting in different file formats, lens choices, flash, and much more. Sign up for this class and get the most from your camera. Bring your digital SLR camera, manual, and connecting cords to class.

Watch your photographs come alive! This course is designed for photo enthusiasts who are looking for an excellent organizing and editing software for their photographs. Adobe Lightroom offers an intuitive, simple, and professional solution for organizing, and adjusting single or multiple images efficiently. Students will learn to sort images, make global color corrections and retouch specific areas in their images. Learn how to export these images for email and printing purposes.  You won’t believe what a little Lightroom can do!Knowledge of camera use required. Students are responsible for their own printing; printing resources will be discussed.
