Project 2: Meet Kenny Special Needs Photography

Kenny Berg cannot conventionally communicate with those around him, and in his world, he is dependent on the instincts of others to assure that his wants and needs are met. He must rely on his only functional senses, those of smell and touch, to recognize, understand, and react with his immediate environment.

Despite his congenital disabilities, which are both mental and physical, his mother, Clara is determined to make sure that her son leads a productive life. A farm near their house has provided a magical atmosphere, where under constant supervision, Kenny has learned to successfully carry out simple tasks. With Kenny as her inspiration, Clara is working to acquire funding to build a farm where other disabled individuals can grow and flourish.
